Breathe On Me, Breath of God
Each breathe we take nourishes our souls
with life-giving, God-given spiritual nutrients.
~ Inhaling, we expand our opportunities to bless;
Exhaling, we extend blessings to those around us ~
Breathing is much more than an organic process.
It is the spirit of our Creator living and moving
in us and through us to sustain our lives and make us
a blessing of peace and goodwill to humankind.
This is our God-given reason for being--
giving sustenance to our lives, and
purpose to our interaction with others.
“Breathe on me breath of God,
fill me with life anew,
That I might love what Thou dost love,
And do what Thou wouldst do.”*
