Breathe In

Open up
Pour it all out,
Breathe in
Fill up with doubt,
Watch them walk by,
Trying to hold still,
Upside down
Sliding down this hill,
Hit bottom
Reach for your pains,
Feel fear
Every time it rains,
See them melting,
Holding on tightly,
Crying slightly,
Everything’s so frightening,
Fall down
Sink into waves,
Desire it
I’ve heard it saves,
Crawl up the shore,
Taste the salt on its lips,
Hear it whisper in your ear,
A beat from your heart as it flips,
Close up
Don’t let it out,
Breathe in
That’s what life’s about.
