breathe

the machine of existence
drives forward
along the road to mystery
and into the unknown light.

Sometimes that once bright light-fades.

That’s when,
the road becomes dark
and the darkness feeds
                          and feeds,
 to satisfy its hunger.

A hunger lurking in the dark.

But if,
the road leads to blue skies,
tranquillity in the golden rays
sunny days of no rain
we sit on golden sands
under palm trees
on a sunny beach,
looking out to waters
 blue and deep.

We calmly breath in
              and
                breathe out

This is my 2nd poem of yours to read. I picked the 1st and this at random (really, closed my eyes and pointed the mouse.) Machine or people, darkness that feeds or a trip to the beach. Hell or Eden. Your poem spills the topic out wonderfully in most fitting, awesome imagery. CayCay (if I may, to be read & receive comments, you must read and comment, no point in even discussing it because it's just how the Soup is stirred, an acceptance issue deal.)
