Breathe

When you're trying your hardest just to make it,
But the world keeps dragging you down
When being stronger is just easier to talk about
Distracting yourself with every little thing you can find,
Because you can’t admit defeat
Always so easy to talk about what’s messing with you,
But this moment you feel lost in a cloud
losing sleep,
you remember when it was all a breeze
Simple words haunt your memory
Simple sentences cause you to break in a million seams
You remember when hearing you’ll be ok,
were the greatest words to hear?
but now it’s your worst nightmare,
How did you get to this point?
How did all the memories pull you to your breaking point
Though you can’t give up,
And quitting is never an option
You suck up every feeling inside,
And you curl up at night
Just breathe
Let it all out
Just breathe,
Forget the words you been dying so hard to say
Forget the memories that linger into the day
Forget the tears that you lose on the way
We are all human,
We all get this way
We all feel our insides sometimes turn to grey
Breathe
When you want to lose your ground,
When you want to back down
Breathe
Let go of the past
Let go of everything
Breathe
Don’t change yourself just to find your way
Don’t push others away,
When it's clear those are the ones that will stay
Just breathe,
You will see brighter days
Breathe
