Breath of Christ

Tracks of the cross now hid from sight
Blood that shed in the dust now blend
Nails of iron are frail and light
Wood has rot as wood does tend
Breath of Christ alive in the wind

Breath of Christ alive in the wind
Message of life and new begin
Across the land and all the seas
Breath of Christ in the gentle breeze

Armies that ruled are now forgot
Sites from the past have turned to sand
Oceans that were now are not
Words of stone crumble in hand
Breath of Christ lay across the land

Breath of Christ lay across the land
From vile and grim became so grand
Across the land and all the seas
Breath of Christ in the gentle breeze
