Breath

Time stopped with the last one,
the world stopped spinning at that time,
something taken for granted
until there is no more,
I would have given you all of mine
for just one more second,
one more sigh,
one more word.
Emptiness fills many things,
and the air that enters and exits
now haunts my lungs.
