Breakup By Text

I received a text,
“I don’t love you anymore”
 Flood waters overwhelmed me,
    Frozen to the phone,
Five years invested in him,
 This is how he chose to end.

   Suddenly I snapped,
Changed my number and email,
 Burned his pictures and his cards, 
     What a classy guy,
   I disappeared instantly,
   I had no reason to cry.
