Being called to Evangelism, the LORD has given me a heart to see people saved.
This is the most important thing on the heart of our LORD and when you are called
to Evangelism, you feel the pressing need to save souls before it is too late!
Breaking The Heart of God
The minutes tick by ... days, months, years
we see countless lost faces pass by and seemingly into space they stare,
are we His people, awake alert to this time that we live
or do we go on our ways aimless and mindless of this awesome care?
For we are the generation chosen to bring in His mighty harvest
are we preparing for this task?
or are we foolishly spending our time and wasting our money
on things that truly for Him won’t last?
Are we seeking His face daily
for the well thought out plan He has for us to do?
or are we too involved with good wholesome activities
which are such fun for me and for you.
While time is a wasting
lost souls are slipping eternally into Hell,
but where are His reapers and His laborers who have promised to go
for Him and anywhere for Him they said they would dwell?
No, our God is not so severe
as to say we can’t have any fun,
but the present day church it seems at this moment of time
is caught up with all of the latest fads of the world under the sun.
Now, His work must be done
before this great harvest is lost,
else how could we stand before our loving God
who not only for us paid such a high cost.
For our precious Lord weeps
over a lazy and slothful church for which He has shed His blood,
and one who has not taken authority over the devil
and his power and has allowed him to come like a flood.
The harvest of souls
is the greatest care upon the heart of God,
a heart now broken by a careless and a carefree people
and who upon His will they have freely trod.
But, we have a merciful God and
it is still not too late for the majority of these lost souls to be won,
then how sweet when His words we will hear from a pleased and happy Father
well done thou My faithful daughters and My sons.
