Breaking Slowly

Somehow I lost me
Transition to less of me and more of you
No moments my own
Feeling like I am drowning
Lacking oxygen it’s ****ing stifling

I don’t want to lose you
But do I lose me instead
This is not me
I need space, air, time just to be

You use to get that
Once you understood me
Now it’s more about possessing me
Like your property

The hope is to one day find yourself again, Time will find you back because you will not be happy until you do, a person sometimes can change us to the point of unhappiness, you will come back a much stronger person once you do, good luck, love debra

I can relate to what you're talking about. It sucks when you are misunderstood you cannot relax chill be yourself and live your life doing what you want to do. Like writing poems going bowling or going out with friends hopefully getting involved with a handsome man and in my case finishing my Senior year in college and wanting to meet Mr. Right have a nice wedding and babies..

We don't know what we have until we lose it. Sadly one comes along that knows what he's found she keeps it forever . Good piece :) - Edward
