Breaking Skin

Surely may I be certainly stable

But behind this eerie differing insincere gaze

Is a needle

On the verge of breaking skin

Just a moment of peace

Before the deafening horror filled haze

As if I'm a twig

Bending but not breaking

Awaiting a momentary snap

The clock ticks and tocks away

Like the beat of my bloodless heart

My bold are loose

My nuts are juiced

I am totally screwed

Contemplating my misguided soul

As it slowly molds

Quietly I turn cold

The sickness takes over

Once again

Escapes the darkness within
