Breaking In Two
I have put my trust in alot of people,
But only to be crushed.
I thought you were different though
And once again,
I was wrong.
I gave you my broken heart
To be mended,
But all you did
Was break it further
Down the middle.
I trusted you
And you let me down;
Taking my heart
And crushing it
To the ground.
I loved you
And you said that
You loved me too,
But when you cheated,
All the pieces came unglued.
Now how can I love again;
Give my heart away,
If everyone I have ever loved
Has left me
To walk astray?
When I gave my heart to you,
It all felt better,
But now,
How can anyone love me
And all the pieces too
That you have
Broken in two?
