Breaking Hope

Snow fall
while the surging wind blows
on the ground
where the roses mourn
as the sun
tries to break free
from the thick clouds
like a ray of light
after a long long night
and the dew
dim and glimmer
for the passing
of the old
and the birth
of a new day.
