Breaking Free

Author Dana Redricks October 20, 2023 Verse 1: In the depths of my despair, chained and confined, I yearn for freedom, for these shackles that bind. Countless times I've fought, tried to break away, From the burdens that hinder, that darken my days. Chorus: But here I stand, no longer alone, for God Yahweh, forever faithful, has shown. Walking by my side, through the storm and the strife, leading me towards freedom, to embrace a new life. Verse 2: Summer raindrops fall, as tears on my face, feeling isolated, lost in a desolate space. Who could truly fathom the weight of my pain? But God, my constant companion, holds my hand through the rain and years I have been weighed down in pain. Chorus: No longer alone, no longer in despair, God's unwavering love whispers, "I am here." Guiding me through the unknown, through life's raging tide, assuring me of His presence, my fears set aside. Bridge: In this journey of life, answers elude my grasp, but crossing the Jordan, I'll unveil the truth that will last. The mysteries and questions will fade away, as I step into eternity, where understanding holds sway. Chorus: Now I'm breaking free from the chains that once held me tight, no longer blinded by darkness, but basking in heavenly light. For God Yahweh, my Savior, has been with me all along, and as I cross the river Jordan, I'll finally belong. Conclusion: Though the complexities of life may often dismay, my faith in God's faithfulness will never sway. As I journey towards freedom, towards the other side, I find solace in the assurance that with God Yahweh, I abide, and He will forever be by my side.
