BREAKING CHAINS
Child
This vast world is yours to explore.
I can be a good teacher
Showing you how to be a man
How to craft a plan for survival.
I can lead you down familiar paths—
But child
These are all chains.
As you grow
Don’t let these chains bind you
This unpredictable world is yours
truly yours to explore.
Try new things, chase what stirs your heart.
But remember
Life is what you receive
When you give away what you love most.
