Breaking Away From All the Chains

Breaking away from all the chains

Written By Dean Masciarelli

Tuesday, September 7, 2010

Breaking away from all the chains
that have kept us from discovering
ourselves is truly a reawakening

And just like the
caterpillar
and the cocoon

We also fight for change and that’s when
we begin to go through our own
unique individualized transformation

Because we are finally willing to
break free because of the offerings
that were bestowed upon us to give us
the freedom to break out of our old skin

So that we can have the freedom to roam
just like the butterfly that fought
endlessly to break out of its own cocoon

Because we had the willingness and
the determination to fight for change
