Breaking All the Rules
Why must I comform to the rules
Poetry should be the poet's will
Writing about an inanimate object
Or maybe about how you feel
I don't worry about a syllable count
And the flow is either there or not
Punctuation I know is important
But sometimes I just simply forgot
And if I tell a story, don't complain
If it wasn't written about my feelings
I can write about anything I want
Even if it's about my ceilings
Grammer to me is just another rule
That was made for me to break
I'll use the words that I need to
And write whatever it takes
So don't consider me different
If I'm using all of my tools
Cause I just write the way I like
Even if it's breaking the rules
