Longing for the taste of maple,
New England's sweet and tasty staple?
I am here to kindly mention
considering the Belgian invention.
Take a pancake: for heaven's sake,
it makes your syrup form a lake.
The solution really is so simple.
Fill your flapjack up with dimples.
Wouldn't it be truly awful
to have no dimples in your waffle?
