Longing for the taste of maple, New England's sweet and tasty staple? I am here to kindly mention considering the Belgian invention. Take a pancake: for heaven's sake, it makes your syrup form a lake. The solution really is so simple. Fill your flapjack up with dimples. Wouldn't it be truly awful to have no dimples in your waffle?

It would be awful. Cook that waffle long enough to make it firm. Your food stories are delicious.

I will put a little syrup on the side, just in case (and it does) my pancake or waffle absorbs it all. Great!

Hmm, that's true. A pancake or a waffle can absorb a lot of maple syrup! Good idea!
