Personalities need to have common goals which is why many couples break up. Wish people could be this honest from the beginning instead of becoming involved when it is so much more difficult to say good-bye. A great message in your poem Carlos! : )

For some reason the first time I read this I had the distinct impression goodbye meant goodbye always. When I re-read it, I wondered if goodbye is supposed to mean goodbye for now. It is thought-provoking in that, isn't it?
