Break of Dawn

Morning glory bud
Begins to unfurl. 
An Eagle flies high 
In the morning sky. 
Aspen leaves rustle,

Stirred by the wind. 
Hope floats above 
Feeling refreshed,
Joy swirls within. 

Rooster crows,
Raven caws, 
Risers yawn

Coffee 
Bacon.  

Eggs.
