Break My Fall
Weakened by his ocean-blue eyes
And feeling so vulnerable because of his size
I threw a penny in a wishing well
And wished you'd take me away from this Hell
The face you see in front of you
To some is not a pretty view
Beneath my skin and blood through my veins
Hides a numerous amount of remembered shame
But still the memories of you guide my heart
And constantly tell me soon we won't be apart
But now an old friend comes along
Someone at one point had me so strong
But at the same time he made me weak
Because our little relationship was so bleak
Re-enacting my painful past
My shallow breathing won't last
Without you here to hold me sane
And only me is who to blame
I don't intend to lose you at all
But what do you expect when you can't break my fall?
