Break Me
You took me from my homeland,
and that didn't break me.
You chained me up and sailed me to a new land, and that didn't break me.
You sold me at auction like a common animal, and that didn't break me.
You stripped of my name and gave me yours, and that didn't break me.
You beat and beat me until I grew a tree on
my back, and that didn't break me.
You come to me and when it's done you
call your good little slave, and that didn't break me.
You made me call you master,
and even that didn't break me.
Nothing you did could ever break me
because I'm unbreakable.
