Break Free

Reaching out for the stars,
hoping to catch a wish.
My mind is somewhere on Mars,
My thoughts just wont quit.

But I don't want it to be quiet.
I want it to be full of life.
I don't want it to be demanding,
I don't care if I'm wrong or right.

I want to daydream all day.
I want to sit and play,
with the spirits that haunt my domain.

I know I sound insane,
But I like it here.
In the dark, hiding my heart.
Focusing on the people I hold dear.

So just leave me chained,
don't try to rescue me.
Somethings wrong with my brain,
And I don't want you to be,
disappointed in me.

That I can't break free.
