As a diabetic I avoid all bread with a shell life of more than 3 weeks – in other words, all store bought bread. I do cheat, however, with good pumpernickel, oat, and Ezekiel breads – provided they contain no corn syrup, etc. / M

I am such a bread-eater, that we usually toss out a 40 gallon garbage bag full of the extra bread to the birds once or twice a month. I never know which bread I am going to want when I want it.

Ooh - those glorious smells! I'm afraid that Andrea is right though,Caren. The required syllable count for the contest was 5.3.5. Could you re-arrange maybe and offer a few 'verses' in that format?

Hahaha Rules mean nothing to me. I truly did not see that! I am such a rule-breaker!

I love this. Nothing like fresh bread with butter!! (I might be mistaken. I was thinking this was a contest for more of those 3/5/3 type poems)

Thanks Andrea. I always get carried away and forget to read the RULES of these contests. I am so glad I have friends who try and help me.
