    Peacock bass
    oh tasteful fish ...
    Amazon,
    from my country...
    Catupiri
    all must eat...
    superb cheese
    from my country...

    Acarajé,
    oh caruru
    oh vatapá
    from Bahia,
    hey hey
    San Salvador ...!

    Vaquejadà
     rodeo...
     hello boiadá
     bolanderá ...
     Muié embroiderer ...
     Percata espadrille, doublet
     all the best
     from my backlands ...!

     Look at the drizzle,
     what a lovely rain ...
      life that flies ...
      All success,
       all the progress
       of this nation.
        Sao Paulo,jet plane ...!

        In this school
        born sambão ...
        in the north zone
        Hello at Gamboa ...
        Wobbly thing
        Rio, February
        waddling samba,
        samba brother ...!

        Center here
        so special...
        Sprouts wealth,
        phenomenal...
        in the immense west
        cattle farming
        Rural Brazil ...!

          Armadillo,
           Hey Tuiuiu
           Icaraí ...
          It's all here ...
           it's brazil land,

           it's my brasil ...

Jeff Connelly August 15, 2019 at 11:08 AM A great language poem Alkas. I started feeling hungry for cheese. But please explain the title because I think I over thought it. Brazil of course your country. Brasil in Portuguese "a burning ember". But brasi to me is quasi Italian for "god father"? Have I mistranslated the title and your meaning Alkas??? Alkas Poetry August 15, 2019 at 11:24 PM Brazil is Brasil in english...Brasi is the way country people spell... bersil was the name europeans called ou PAU BRASIL...PAU BRASIL was a kind of tree of Brasil coast at 1500 when portuguese discovered our country, they explored that tree using it for furniture and for paint...Today this tree is almost extinct...
