Brass Buttons

Brass buttons on his green coat. Pride of America but mostly his folks. Proud to serve his country in war. His coat is missing buttons it is torn. He`s reported missing and presumed dead. A nightmare all parents dread. He died for the country he loved. He`s in Heaven above. His brass buttons shining in the sun. God smiles and says "welcome home my son."
