The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Brandy and Heartbreak

I fell asleep thinking of you, I woke with tears in my eyes
Cold and alone because you're not here by my side
I did everything you wanted and it still wasn't enough to make you stay
So now my days are filled with brandy and heartbreak

I'm trying to think of anything but you
Healing takes time, but it's something I'm trying to rush through
a glass of Courvoisier and love songs playing as I sit in my room
I don't want to use other girls as a bandage to heal your wound

I'm still bleeding from the pain you inflicted
The brandy may make me miss you more, but I'll risk it
I deleted your number so I don't call
Flashbacks of you laughing at me During the fall

Who knew someone so beautiful could cause so much ugliness
thank you for teaching me that a beautiful face doesn't make a girl the loveliest
I slayed the dragon with a sword just for you to use it to cut me with
All my love is lost because I ended up the bloodiest

I fell asleep thinking of you and woke up with tears in my eyes
But I'll find a way to be okay even without you here by my side
I did everything you wanted and it still wasn't enough to make you stay
So now my days are filled with brandy and heartbreak
