To live with
    borderline personality disorder
    - unpredictable behavior
the balloon can explode at any time
    The threshold is low

Hi Anne-Lise. Thank you for posting this poem. There are people who sadly do not respond to medication and those that do not realize that they should keep taking it even when they feel well. Many people end up in prison without the true help they need. You are right; there are those who know medication can help but choose not to take it. I will add that some of the side effects of the medication can put people off taking them too. I saw this during my nursing life. A great read. Cheers - Gary

Great capture! Did you take photo? Sounds like all of my love interests throughout my life...after having dated me. But seriously, it is hell to those who suffer. Very common with artists, and also many other Great achievers. Joe.

Strange thing Anne-Lise, it can be recognised and treated before a crime, but after some unspeakable crime we mostly don’t want to know about it, and charge them as evil sociopaths, oh I do love these thought provoking ones, cheers David

- ugly acts can happen, David ... many who do not use medication ... many who have the diagnosis without knowing that it is an illness, there are drugs that can help ... they do not seek the help they can get ... and we don't talk "loudly" about mental illness... - hugs
