Bow Wow

Let sleeping dogs lie
Don't get tripped by their feet
They come awake with a snarl,
and might think that you're meat.

A real snappy opus, Mikki. I'm sure Kiwi would not do such a thing. Keep Kiwi well fed just to be sure. Love this short masterpiece. Congrats on the selection. Love, daver

You Always Find It Amusing, Sweet Beautiful Rachel, These Plays Upon Ones Fear ? Sometimes it seems you'd had a ghoulish fascination for the morbid and macabre movies you'd watched? :( This poem had been a trifling, maybe I'd stepped on a tail that day, but today you try to devour me...duh. What's up with you, 'Rachel'? Mikki

Hi Michelle, your gonna think I'm stalking you..cuz every time I see your name on Joe's poems...I click on your name to see if you have a new poem... but still the fiddle poem is the last you posted. So today I searched for the cutest title... LOL.. and I think cats are more vicious if you wake them from their sleep... I got the scars to prove it. :-) I truly like the bow wow poem. My dogie has a short tail... he's lucky from my feet... always~ PD
