Bountiful Love

There’s love forming next to me…
Sometimes it gets me thinking…
What is it like to be loved?
Maybe it’s the most precious rose in the garden
Maybe it’s like the sun ascending…
Maybe it’s the cocoon releasing a butterfly

There’s love brewing here and there…
Sometimes it catches my eye…
When will I experience it?
Maybe it would be the best part of my life?
Maybe it would be nourishing to my heart?
Maybe it would be the stars gleaming in the night?

It’s an afternoon...that feels pleasant
Love, merriness and joyfulness sprouting beautifully
It’s a somewhat unsettling moment…
With me around… soaking in remorse that breaks me

There’s love succumbing in my heart…
But, my passion is slowly sinking…
What if love isn’t worth my time?
Maybe it’s the weeds that choke the vegetation
Maybe it’s like the moon darkening…
Maybe it’s the bird facing his first flight…

It’s shocking at first,
But it gives young lovers
The chance to venture
Into the bright side
Of bountiful love

Give me a taste
Of bountiful love
