Boundless Sin

You cut me open
Let the blood flow
Hollowed out my being
Disemboweled my soul
Sucking my spirit dry
What more can I give you
You've taken it all
Without offering me one thing
Of yourself or your life

Now you want to leave
As I lay here on the floor
Dying of starvation
Can't breathe anymore
My eyes are slowly closing
I think I see the light
Out the door you walk
As my will ceases to fight
My existence faded away

When you ripped out my heart
Then threw it on the floor
The look on your face
Was more than I could take
What made you so cold
To the love I showered you with
Fulfilling your every need
Gave you everything I owned
Obviously it wasn't enough...

As I soar to heaven
I feel like hell
Will I get my wings
For putting up with you
Or am I destined to purgatory
Forever
Because I committed a sin
Beyond mercy and forgiveness
Which was loving you
Boundlessly
