Boundless
The world can be complicated
Life can get so tangled
Making one feel entangled
Trapped within its thorns of dread
Makes you wish you were dead.
Once upon a time
In days of youth
Life was simple
The world untangled.
The skies held no limits
The view from above so endless
Dreams could fly high
Above the blue sky.
Unboundless you feel
When you soar across the sky
Far from reality of life
And into your own fantasy land.
But as the years roll by
Storm clouds swallow the sky
Your wings start to weigh heavy
As reality takes it tow
To pull you back into its cruel embrace.
Staring at the dark sky above
On the verge of breaking down
As you ponder with sorrow in your eyes
Will you ever see the sun shine through again?
No need to despair
Hold onto your dreams
Hope will shine through
To penetrate the storm clouds
For light to shine through once more.
Darkness disperses
As the sky breaks through
The sun shining brightly
Dreams taking flight once more
For as long as you hold dear to them
You are boundless to what you can do.
