Boundary Blvd
I'd waited for you now forever,
capturing my embrace between
your grasps, wandering about
solace and peace, we'd shattered
the universe, gathering seashells,
of compassion, gravely I glanced
beneath me to a calmer coast,
heaven sent almost, testing
hidden treasures, my mind
steadfast while my heart exploded,
beyond the essence of unneeded,
gifts I'd bestowed, quietly devouring
haste in an untimely place, why
I'd succumbed to an emptiness
feeling trapped, above all else,
tampering with the needful things,
where love and lust seemed,
to danced right on my toes,
an achiness, called pain withered
throughout time, a rapture of trust,
collided leaving me, room to roam
a rather cleaver passion hints,
of loss removed, replaced malice,
restoring my sense of purity
and grace, glorifying self love,
creating boundaries of you and I
while in love, we soared differently
on different clouds, abundantly so,
joining one another, on the ocean
shore clinging to forever once more.
