Boulder Colorado Shootings

A tragic mass shooing has occurred once more. This time, in a Boulder, Colorado grocery store. Today, it seems there is no safe place to go. Incidence of gun violence seems to grow. The number of murdered victims amounted to ten. It looks like we cannot keep this from happening again. From a news story found on CNN.com

Morality is missing. People have so much free time and especially now. We need to invest in our young people. The thought life needs to be pure but is what is likely half-cocked, ready to go off. Another sad case.

I'm going to cry...again. It's so so so unfair that these kinds of things happen in our lives. Thank you for speaking out about this heartfelt and meaningful topic. -Bridget W. :)

But, we must keep writing about it, Robert, and keep prodding, pushing, persisting that our legislators take this crisis seriously. Good work! You are helping by writing this poem!

Very timely Robert. I’m always hoping we come to our senses but I really don’t see that happening ant time soon.

How awful Robert. The times are getting worse. No telling what it would take to end the craziness. A fine write. Wish some of us would wake up and smell the coffee. God Bless, JB

Hi Robert! This type of incident is not unusual in Chicago. But nary a peep is heard. It makes Boulder look like boy scout camp. I don't have the death and injury figures for Chicago. But people die by the hundreds there a year. There are thousands of quiet, oeacefu Places. Remember that, "if it bleeds, it reads"...news does not cover loveliness, beauty or peace. Like you, I also wrote a poem about it. Be of good faith, my friend. Hugs, Pangie xxx
