Bougainvillea
BOUGAINVILLEA
At entrance of my villa, marvelous bougainvillea
swings branches holding bunches of blossoms in opulence
on variance of colors as purple, pink and white
bright brilliant in gesture, hanging in clusters,
once hit by a bluster of gust lasting for hours.
Storm with showers whirled flowers fast and faster
ending in disaster causing the creeper to fall.
As rains ceased, I came at gate, being upset,
but simply enchanted to descry the beauty
of a flower bed lying on my yard.
So long to watch the hardy creeper
covering gate with blooms to glow in frolic flow
up above and sideways.
First time I was startled to disovecr the charm
of a flower bed of bougainvillea.
Gardener erected bougainvillea again to regain
its firm posture to adorn my gate gorgeous.
