Both Sides of Me

I am both light and dark,
both green and gold, 
good and evil,
white and black

I am all the things I have seen 
and all the things I have thought.
I am both happy and sad,
at peace and at war with myself.

I am both beautiful and ugly, 
both giving and selfish,
kind and cruel,
wild and caged.

I cannot be either or.
Both sides exist within me 
and that is who I am.
