Both My Kids Have Birthdays Next Month

Is weird to be born
in society thinks is the 
greatest ever and for good reasons.

I was being breast-fed when my mom heard the news
of JFK
She remembers, I don't.

I don't member RFK either or even 
MLK, but what I will tell ya
is forty odd years later  doesn't ring true
that all three were
“random acts of violence”

We gotta get smart, people
trust our own brains 'cause I tell ya
what slave-owners don't want ya to know

Long as ya buy in to brown-nose ass kissin' consumption
you're riskin' your kids future and furthermore
the half-life for super-powers is about two-hundred
years, ask greece and rome
turkey, egypt, great brittain and so on

just sayin' think on it please
that's all.

The Fringe October 28, 2011 at 11:12 AM And by default we now are exactly what we believe we are--victims, sinners, broken, unworthy..... I am leaning to think people are Creators of the highest order, but we can only create according to our vision. And now, our vision is exactly as we are witnessing--people (including me) who always look away, usually to blame or whatever will make it so we don't look at ourselves.

The Fringe October 28, 2011 at 11:10 AM I agree those murders were not as we were told. I also agree empires are doomed to fall. Perhaps people living in empires become so distracted by... hmm .... consuming perhaps (as you said)? that we do not face who we are. Perhaps people's "faith" in whatever path of least resistance is most popular will always be the exact distraction for us to enslave ourselves by our own free will. I now question whether we just do not have the maturity to think of anything better than what we now "know".
