Borrowed Time
Is time spent in memories past;
A past that's held unwanted feelings;
Feelings from another that didn't last;
Because what love had, lost its healing.
Borrowed time comes when feelings are missed;
And the sadness of love is from another's life;
A life that brought harmonious bliss;
From a time when feelongs meant a sacrafice.
Those sacrafices pushed beyond all limits;
Limits that made the heart grow thinner;
Thinner beyond what love permits;
For from borrowed time one will forever know..
