Borrowed Sunshine
Brother
Whats a new day when we tend to do the same old things?
Sister
I know life is a beautiful song that we've someway always at times been too
afraid to sing
I tried to go about it all in the right
Even thought it was a shame that I just happened to be left handed
But what is loving me when there isn't an understanding?
It's got to be automatic
Especially at the age I'm reaching
I'm too seasoned
i just can't keep on teaching
It just decreases the enchantment
in the passion
See we yearn to be free
But why come it has to be such a hurting wrong
When we don't belong
Somewhere to someone at a certain hour
That'll make mama not so proud of us
Baby you just can't get away from some things by just letting go
The pit-bull of addiction can have such a deadly and heavy hold
The SOUL:
My home boy told me to go on ahead under and make it respectful and official
Though I'm so sure I want it to be pure
KNOWING!!
I ought of
I just can't go to the altar and lie to that preacher
Not willing to spend all that money on a destined to be broken promise
To a woman either
On no borrowed sunshine
