Notes About The Poem

"Snow Peaks' Silent Hymn" from devianart.com

BORROWED CURRENCY

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The cracked sidewalk remembers where my soles first learned belonging. Morning tea steam rising~ a silent hymn to whoever filled the kettle. This borrowed breath between stars is the only currency I carry.
Love the detail of being thankful "to whoever filled the kettle" followed by your amazing finale "This borrowed breath between stars / is the only currency I carry."
