Born An Eagle

Don’t lose me in the tide,
Follow me through the dust.
I will rock through heedless waves,
Nocturnally beseeching your dead grandparents.
Die on your new definitions,
Retain the baggage of flesh you’ve dragged
As your own identity.
Just don’t forget to soar like an eagle.
