Bored In Play Rehearsal

Currently composing poetry in my practice-for-testing booklet trying not to think about the evening we first met. I was wearing a comic-printed top with these sandals that I hate, you were playing with a soccer ball, even when we ate. Adults asked us both about college while our fathers ate and talked and drank. We paid little attention to each other and for that I cannot thank. Because I wish I had more time with you before you got bored and I got screwed.
