Boots Crossed

IF summer leases
winter away will often
as dimmed fare to fare
by natures somber oust
if within a beak of
despair? If not you let
me to horror of heart
these days of my life
with a tempest mark

i now wear your knowledge
forgetting rose lips
and orchid cheeks
but bared a doubt
to the edge of doom
how much i loved your
Soul that no other knew.

So long as This that cannot
EVER DIE is what God spoke.
