Books take you on a journey,
Through the land of other people:
Knowledge is a very useful commodity,
Communicated with much positivity,
Through emotions given with sobriety.
Books lap your interest up,
'Cos there's no set reading speed:
They broaden your mind,
Until you gel with humankind,
So that contentment you find.
