BOOKS Look Maggie tell me what you see A squarelike shape I see or is it a little box Of course it is a book it is We don't judge it by it looks I heard a tale of what genius do They hold you tight and romance your clothes with care The wisest seek you for council in all they do As kids looks into you for their lovely daily play Oh lovely book How common your name does sound You can come in many colors As inside you lies what we know or want to know The king's and subject love you same Like the jack of all trades you are master to all The foolish want to make you their friend The wise hug you in close embrace. From time to time you stand On your bed lies all written records You are humble and never proud But one who knows you stand bold in your accord. Dedicated to Books lovers.
