Bonnie Blue
Oh formous bonnie bluebird
I love you more each day
I dream of us together
And want to steal away
To private, hidden, quiet coves
Where we can spend the time
Getting to know each other more
And living out these rhymes
Oh sweetheart bonnie bluebird
To you on bended knee
Will take your wing into my hand
And on it place a ring
Beneath a trellis of roses
While vanilla clouds float by
With an amethyst hued sunset
Under a ruby twilight sky
Oh precious bonnie bluebird
We don't know what's in store
But I'll be in your shadow
I'll wait 'cause I want more
And yes, I'll wait for you my love
For as long as I'm alive
And hope someday you'll fly to me
