Bonkers

God staged a Mount Sodom assault
On a wife whom once dared to halt*
Her husband said, "Whew!
What else could He do?
I'm hungry, so please pass the salt!"

* The hallmark of Western religions
is God and Lot's "Devil-may-care"
attitude toward a "nameless" wife's
concern for the welfare of her daughters!

Especially when one considers the Hebrews were a matriarchal society before men learned how to write! Aloha! Rico

It amazes me that Mount Sodom's "Pillar of Salt" is still perceived as a reminder that God must be obeyed rather than as a monument to a "nameless" woman whose love for her children exceeded her fear of a jealous God. Aloha! Rico
