Bonfires With Boys

Sparks take to sky, My heart could fly, Family found, When I come around, It feels like home; Grab a beer and let’s roll, We’ll take the back roads no toll, The boonies, Could swoon me, It feels like being alive, Beside my blood I ride, These boys soon men, I must instill wisdom in them, To know I care, When parents don’t, They know I won’t, Ever leave, Like turning leaves, All their needs, Are my pursuits, This bond has roots, Unbreakable, I’m able, To give what I can give, To show them how to live, All that is my power, Onto them I’ll shower, For my concern, Is to earn, A better life, For Matt and Mike.
