Boneless Betty, from THE WOMAN WHO COULD EAT WOOD

Boneless Betty Every day Boneless Betty wished she could help her baker family. But she could hardly move in bed! If she stood up, her nerves, blood flow, lungs, organs, would get blocked, squeezed, and she’d die in bed! One day, after being spoon-fed, she and her family decided to carefully stack on her their loaves of bread.
