Boneless

This poem is dedicated to Grace Lee. She is one of my dearest friends whose spirit shines so brightly on to others!

Boneless The soul inside The spirit within Is really the actual Individual person Each one is placed Into a human shell With skeletal bones To move the body well The eyes are windows The soul peeks through During the time on earth That each one must do As we travel through On our allotted time The bones are strong For the path assigned When the journey Gets near the end Of learning almost All of your lessons The bones deteriorate The body lays to rest The soul is then set free And becomes completely Boneless
