Boink

Number one went ‘BOINK’ off the little piggy’s head Number two went ‘BOINK’ and the little piggy said Little piggies shouldn't sleep underneath an apple tree Then he went ‘OINK OINK’ and was ‘BOINKed’ by number three So the little piggy hoped there would not be any more Number four went ‘BOINK’ and it rolled along the floor Then the pig said ‘OINK’ just to prove he was alive And the ‘BOINK’ on his head came from apple number five Well he he grinned just a little because apples taste of heaven But he went ‘OINK OINK’ and was ‘BOINKed’ by six and seven Little pig felt safe with the farmer at the gate ‘BOINK’, ‘OINK OINK’ that was apple number eight Well, the farmer came along just to check his pig was fine But the pig said ‘OINK’ at the ‘BOINK’ from number nine There was one more ‘BOINK’ and an ‘OY!’, that’s when The farmer got ‘BOINKed’ by apple number ten

Love it, Terry, yes, perfect for the book. Since I decided to do the book I didn’t want to do any more nursery rhyme contest. Will send you another permission slip with the title name. Hugs Eve

So cute and cleverly done, Terry. I hope this one finds its way into the book of nursery rhymes Eve Roper is putting together!

Hi Milt. I wrote a version of this in anticipation of Another nursery rhyme contest which never happened. That version was way too elaborate in its rhythm and flow, so much so, that I kept forgetting the rhythm to apply. It’s pure chance that I chose to sort it out now. Thanks for your kind comments.
